SuperDL, short for Super Download, works where you already share links. Once installed, it receives public posts from X, Bluesky, and supported Mastodon servers, lets you choose the available quality, and saves the video to Photos.

We use your email to send this Shortcut link and critical service or security updates, and store request metadata including IP address for abuse prevention. We will not send marketing emails unless you opt in. By requesting it, you agree to the Terms and authorized-use rules.
Install once. Save from the app you are using.
The web tool is useful for a quick download. The Shortcut puts SuperDL in the iPhone share sheet, so you can send a supported post to it while browsing X, Bluesky, or Mastodon. Your iPhone downloads the selected video and saves it to Photos.
What to expect during setup
- Request the iCloud installation link using the email form above, then open it on your iPhone.
- Review the Shortcut’s actions before adding it. It needs network access to find and download media, and permission to save to Photos.
- Use a public post containing a video you have permission to save. Quality choices depend on the original post.

Supported platforms
X/Twitter and Bluesky public video posts are supported. Mastodon support currently covers mastodon.social, fosstodon.org, and mstdn.social. You can also test a video link in your browser before installing.
