How to download a Bluesky video
- Open the individual video post in Bluesky. Use its Share menu to copy the post link, or copy the address from the post on bsky.app.
- Paste the link into the downloader and confirm you have permission to save the media. Select Get media.
- Choose an available MP4 result. Open it in your browser and save it to your device; the available quality depends on the post.
On iPhone, open the media result and use Safari’s Share menu to save the video when available. If it opens in Downloads, open the file and share it to Photos. For a share-sheet workflow, get the SuperDL Shortcut.
Supported Bluesky post links
Use a bsky.app link to an individual post containing a video. Both account handles (including custom-domain handles) and DID-based profile paths are accepted. Profile pages, feeds, and search links do not identify a video post.

Bluesky video download not working?
If there are no results, check that the post is still public and contains an attached video. A link to an external video site is not the same as a Bluesky video attachment. Deleted or unavailable posts and videos without an exposed MP4 option cannot be resolved.
Media URLs can expire. Paste the original post link again for fresh results. If the problem continues, see download troubleshooting or contact support with the post URL and error message.

Is the Bluesky video downloader free?
Yes. The web tool is free and does not require a SuperDL account. Use it only for videos you are allowed to save.
Can I choose the video quality?
SuperDL lists the MP4 options available for that post. Some posts have only one option; the tool does not upscale or create additional resolutions.
Does it work with custom Bluesky handles?
Yes. Copy the bsky.app post URL even when the author uses a custom-domain handle. A link to the custom domain itself is not a post URL.
Can I download an entire Bluesky profile?
No. This tool resolves individual public video posts. It does not download profiles or feeds in bulk.
